What it’s like to work with Mary Claire

Mary Claire is a genuine, authentic, and compassionate counselor who is driven to provide high quality work, grounded in integrity. Her clients appreciate how steadfast she is—how she’s not afraid to wade alongside them into the hard stuff. People who work with Mary Claire feel less alone, more connected to their emotional experience, and closer to their most authentic self, in addition to noticing positive changes in how they show up in their relationships. In each moment—from the beginning until the end of therapy—her clients feel safe and supported.

“I love connecting with my clients and experiencing how that relationship deepens over time. I also love getting to support clients through the spectrum of the human experience.

“In my core, I believe that we are all driven towards healing and have an innate motivation to grow. Therapy can help you feel seen, heard, and understood. If you feel a pull toward something more, or if you feel cut off from yourself and your relationships, I’d love to work with you. Whether it’s your first time to therapy or you’ve been here before, I strive to make each moment together feel safe and connected.”

“I’m real. I will never not show up as myself. You deserve a therapist who is going to bring not just their skills but their humanity to the work they do. I am that therapist. I do this work because it fulfills me, and I genuinely believe in the transformational power of good therapy.”
