Kevin brings a deep sense of compassion and kindness to his counseling, as well as a mature and perceptive understanding of people and relationships. Kevin’s clients find that he wholeheartedly devotes himself to helping them heal and learn how to move forward.

Kevin holds degrees both in Professional Counseling and Marriage, Family, & Human Development.

Having spent 9 years on active duty in the Air Force, Kevin has had diverse life experiences that give him the ability to empathize and feel with his clients in unique ways. He has traveled and lived all over the world, allowing him to connect with and understand the variety of circumstances and situations you might be experiencing. Kevin deeply believes that all people have an inherent need to connect, matter and be loved by those closest to them, especially with one’s partner/spouse.

Kevin’s training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) allows him to help couples and individuals in distress. His approach is holistic, with an emphasis on the emotional elements that often are too easily overlooked and/or ignored.

In his work with individuals, Kevin uses his training in AEDP counseling; an approach that focuses on helping people tap into their natural (but sometimes undiscovered) qualities of resilience, strength, compassion, and authenticity.

Having spent time in the military, Kevin is particularly able to relate to Veterans and men in particular, helping them feel at ease and to talk about the hard things that they don’t normally like to talk about.

Marriage Counseling & Couples Therapy

You’re not sure when it happened—but you feel more like a roommate than a beloved partner in your relationship. You wonder when your love for each other got replaced by feelings of irritation, resentment, and disenchantment. You’re tired of worrying about whether the next conversation will erupt into an argument. You can’t accept that the future of your relationship is limited to either constant fighting or icy distance. You want so much more for your marriage(!)—but you’re not sure how to get there.

You want to feel connected on a deeper level, like you did all those years ago. You can sense that, underneath the fighting or the distance, you still want to create something great together. You remember being able to share anything with your partner, and the great feeling of knowing that you were really there for each other. You want to get back to that place—the place where you can be human, where you can talk freely, and where you don’t have to get it right all the time. You want to get back to the place where you know that your love for each other is stronger than the problems that you face. You want to find peace together, a place of heartfelt security and trust where you know that you can face the world together, hand-in-hand.

You need a therapist who is grounded, approachable, and who knows how to help you and your partner find each other again. People who work with me find that they can feel at ease; they feel relief to discover that they won’t be judged—they will only be supported in rediscovering feelings of love, commitment, and partnership. I help men feel at ease, and help women find the emotional connection that they long for in their relationship. If you’re invested in the process, miracles can occur! Although meaningful change doesn’t happen overnight, I’ll support you in making sense of where you get stuck and how you can channel your passion for each other into creating lasting love that you can count on. You can become closer than you ever were before. Schedule your first appointment with me by calling or clicking the button below!
