About Kelly Brutsch
I am drawn to and admire people who are willing to be vulnerable enough to acknowledge the areas within themselves that are weak and in need of attention in order to grow and develop into our best selves. I love working with people who have a desire to explore their strengths as well as areas that need some growth, in order to become the best version of themselves.– Kelly Brutsch
I can easily identify with parents who struggle with anxiety or fears over whether they are “doing a good job” in raising their children. I also identify with those who are struggling with grief over a family member or close friend who struggles with addiction and their lack of control in their ability to stop their family member from engaging in it. I understand how hard it can be to maintain boundaries with toxic people that you also love dearly. I understand the loss of expectations and having to grieve what you thought would turn out a certain way, accept the reality of the situation, and choose to see the positive aspects of it – even though it is not what you expected or wanted it to look like. I understand the frustration of wanting to help someone, but realizing that that person has to “want it for themselves” and to allow them to live in unhealthy patterns until they decide they want to change.
I sincerely care about people, and am drawn to help my clients become better versions of themselves. I love to encourage people that their past mistakes do not define who they truly are as people. With a little vulnerability and willingness to take some small steps in the right direction, joy-filled living is truly possible. I am committed to my clients’ growth and will show up to sessions prepared to fully engage, with out distraction. It is my goal to provide helpful and appropriate tools to help my clients reach goals that bring them more joy and fulfillment in life. I am humbled to be allowed to enter in to someone’s growth journey and consider it a true privilege to walk alongside people who desire to change and grow into healthier versions of themselves.
