“The wound is the place where the light enters you”
Hello! My name is Allie Quade, and I’m a therapist at Colorado Counseling Center. I am passionate about helping people realize their fullest potential. I work to empower others through providing the tools needed to increase their self esteem, let go of perceived limitations, and hone their courage to create positive changes through the healing process of counseling.
I love helping people work through the big changes that happen in life, as well as helping people get unstuck and discover more peace and wholeness as they move forward. Read more below!
Life Transitions Counseling
Your life has changed. You have gone through a big transition—such as change in relationship, career, health related issues, or loss of loved one. You aren’t sure how to navigate your wants and needs, or really have a sense of self through this change. This a confusing time, and you want someone who can help you transition smoothly into the next phase in your life.
Imagine being able to confidently navigate your future, and having a sense of security and ease as you face new territory.
You want a therapist who is practical, warm, relatable, and can provide you with skills that you can use to get from point A to point B. I will support you in maintaining self care, as well as relating to your “story” through the use of narrative therapy and motivational interviewing in order to move through transitions with increased awareness and greater insights into your journey. With my flexible booking schedule, you can easily find a time that fits to get started right away.
Trauma Therapy & Depression Counseling
You’re feeling stuck, drained and aren’t sleeping or concentrating well after something sudden or unexpected happened—and you want to get back to feeling like yourself and functioning. You want to be able to be confident again, and to feel relief by letting go of the experience that has gripped you for too long.
It is possible to restore yourself to peace, harmony and wholeness again, despite what has happened to you.
With my clinical experience and skills, I can provide you with the encouragement, support and necessary tools to help you feel empowered and strong again. Schedule with me today if you’re ready to let go and feel whole again.
I utilize a client centered approach, and I am also trained in both EMDR and Brainspotting, trauma processing interventions which can help you gently work through your stuck points.
I am experienced in counseling those struggling with alcoholism, substance abuse, and process addictions. I aim to help clients increase their awareness of underlying issues that are connected to substance abuse in addition to providing community and family resources to couple with individual treatment.
