Allie Quade, LPC
“The wound is the place where the light enters you”
Hello! My name is Allie Quade, and I’m a therapist at Colorado Counseling Center. I am passionate about helping people realize their fullest potential. I work to empower others through providing the tools needed to increase their self esteem, let go of perceived limitations, and hone their courage to create positive changes through the healing process of counseling.
I am experienced in counseling those struggling with alcoholism, substance abuse, and process addictions. I aim to help clients increase their awareness of underlying issues that are connected to substance abuse in addition to providing community and family resources to couple with individual treatment.
Depression & Trauma Therapy
I utilize a client centered approach, I am also trained in Brainspotting, a trauma processing intervention which is a gentle approach to working through stuck points using bilateral stimulation with music and somatic awareness.
Life Transitions Counseling
People often seek counseling while navigating change, something that inevitably comes up from grief/loss, career changes, relationships, or moving. I will support you in maintaining self care, as well as relating to your “story” through the use of narrative therapy and motivational interviewing in order to move through transitions with increased awareness and greater insights into your journey.
